What an interesting title! What do these three things have in common? Oh they were all in our first on-campus improv show! Yes that's right, our first show was a huge success; we packed a full-house. I played in three games, Commercials, Oracle and Pantheon in addition to introing Circle of Death. Unfortunately there was no video of the show, but I'll give you a quick rundown!

I think we'll go to Boston...

Well the first Viola Question show is complete. The school was AMAZING. Very big boarding school outside of Boston.

Our VQ time began early in the day with a 3v3 soccer tournament, a couple guys from the group played together just for fun. We had a great time and even scored a goal! :) After the cars got here, we loaded in and began the trek.

We didn't have too much trouble getting there, however we did get pulled over. We almost missed our exit so the driver swooped over at the last minute, turns out there was a cop right behind us, but he let us go and we were on the road again after a short 2-minute delay.

Once we got there, we were ushered into their theater, which was fairly nice actually. We changed and warmed up, then ran out on stage. There were probably around 60-80 people in the audience which isn't too bad a crowd (but nothing compared to what our on campus shows are). I intro'ed Revenge, and participated in some commercials and the Oracle. Both of which went well. The group all thought it was a pretty good show, and the kids seemed to enjoy it.

Afterwords we took a 15-minute break and then went to do the workshop. Not as exciting for us, but it's always fun to see what other people do. Finally, we headed back to the house we stayed at, which was a very nice house just off the coast. We hung out, ate lots of pickles...and pickled green beans...and chatted for awhile before sleeping and finally treking back this morning. Back in New Haven now, and very screwed in terms of how much work I have to do.

Some pictures from the trip can be found on facebook here. Enjoy!

Everything is pretty much in motion for the semester. A usual routine as sort of cropped up. Go to classes, do homework, with intermittent practices and IMs in between. Some small news this week...

The question, answered!

Around 3:30 AM this morning I awoke to the loud and disturbing chants of "Char-lie", "Char-lie". As I jumped off my top bunk, and pulled on pants I found a group of oddly dressed comedians in my room. Luckily, this wasn't another one of "those" dreams...
