Everything is pretty much in motion for the semester. A usual routine as sort of cropped up. Go to classes, do homework, with intermittent practices and IMs in between. Some small news this week...
Follow up:
On the YDN side of things I had to do some photos of Edward Albee, I guess he is a famous playwright. Didn't know that, but cool nonetheless. He was very nice and the photos should be in Friday's paper.
We have had our first two VQ rehearsals now, they are probably the most fun practices I've ever had to go to. Lots to do for VQ too. We will be redoing our website (I'll post it when it's finished) and we also have to start making calls to New Jersey Shore schools to solicit them for shows. If you have any connections who would want to hire us, let me know!
Classes continue to be the same, lots of reading and work. I finished my second essay for Consumer Culture yesterday. It scares me a bit because he always seems to reference my essay in our discussion...hopefully that's a good thing.
Finally, I played soccer and football IM today. Soccer won, Men's Football lost, and Co-ed football won. So not too shabby. That's the news from New Haven. I'll post my essay later in the week. Looking ahead, our first football game is this weekend which promises to give me something to do Saturday. Go Bulldogs!
